Permit, License, and Insurance Information
Why Pull a Permit?
Unless the project is cosmetic, remodeling projects require a permit.
Check with your building department to make sure which projects do not require a permit.
Pulling a permit (if required) insures that plans, contractors, and materials to be used will be approved prior to the start of any work.
All work will be inspected and approved by the building department.
Use tax is included in the permit. Permitted work reduces sales tax cost.
If you do not pull permits on work done to your home you are risking financial cost, untimely construction, and an unwanted permit when you attempt to sell your home. Real estate professionals are trained to look for work that does not have the proper documentation filled with the building department.
Why Have a Licensed Contractor Like Premeiere Home Improvement Do Your Work?
We are a licensed contractor that pulls all permits under our license. Don’t every let someone convince you that you will save money by pulling your own permit. It cost the same regardless if a qualified contractor pulls it or if you pull it.
